  • News clips (EDSA II, Million People March), Change.org, mock Facebook pages, advocacy posters

IV. Procedures:

A. Reviewing previous lesson or presenting the new lesson:

  • Activity: Multiple Choice Quick Quiz (warm-up)
  • Topics:
    • Change.org as an online petition platform
    • Social media’s role in EDSA II and Million People March
    • Radyo Veritas during Marcos’ regime
    • Google People Finder during Typhoon Yolanda

B. Establishing a purpose for the lesson:

  • “Today, we’ll discover how ICT and social media are not just tools for entertainment but powerful platforms for advocacy, communication, and societal change.”

C. Presenting illustrative examples/instances of the lesson:
